Ssh works with admin, but not root

Unread post by Frentlee » Fri Jun 20, 2014 8:34 am

Any ideas on what I'm doing wrong? It looks like I'm logged in with root, but I have no access to the files and I need to alter a sickbeard config file. Any help is greatly appreciated.

hi!

just add a shared folder named "root", then ssh into the nas:

mount -o bind / /volume1/root

you'll find your root mounted in volume1/root with full access (:

Ssh as usual, then type "sudo -i" and you're done.
