command line interface to control DiskStation

Unread post by bartik » Sun Oct 29, 2006 12:56 pm

Would it be possible to provide a simple command line interface for the admin functions and all other tools ? For example instead of running the web browser I would log-in using ssh/telnet and user config or to ssh/telnet to a specific port then I would get a simplified command line with commands like "enable photostation", "adduser ...", "enable writecache", "reboot" etc. Then for the download station I would issue a command say "get <torrentname>", "addport udp 86756", "showprogress all"
