Transferred files from external disk to diskstation - Original file properties are not preserved like original date created, ISO used to take the picture etc

Hi,

Did you try checking with an application that displays EXIF info?
I have copied many pictures to my DS (RAW and JPG) and the information is intact!

I never had problems. I asume the external drive is on the usb port of the nas and you use FileStation to move the file.

My external drive is EXT4 formatted. Maybe that matters for preserving the metadata
