PHP error "PHP is not running"

Unread post by longbowdesign » Wed Jul 18, 2018 7:08 pm

I want to create a second Wordpress site (and even third or fourth) on my NAS DS215.

So....
I created a new database in phpMyadmin.
I set up a new virtual host.
I created a new folder for the new website with a clean new installation of Wordpress.

.... but when I try to get in to the new site I get this message:

"Error: PHP is not running
WordPress requires that your web server is running PHP. Your server does not have PHP installed, or PHP is turned off."

I checked in Web Station > Virtual Host and it shows that PHP 7.0 is set.

I read somewhere that perl should be installed, and did that, but it makes no difference.

Where am I going wrong?

Thanks
