FTP Server Speed

Unread post by vmaxhp » Tue Jul 17, 2018 5:54 pm

Good morning. I have a DS1813+ and I have setup an FTP server on the array. Transfer speed, using FileZilla seems to top out at about 1meg. Using my 2012 R2 Server instead of the 1813+ sustains 10meg. Both are connected to the same TPLink switch.

My network is:
ISP - Netgear R7800 <--5ghz wifi--> Asus RT-AC66U running DD-WRT <--TPLink gigE switch -->

The DD-WRT shows a solid connection TX:1170M RX:975M

Thoughts?

Hi

Bad cable

You should be able to get higher speed with your DS1813+, what speed are you getting if you download to a PC local via WindowsExplore?
