Can not get access to backup folder

Unread post by Ottern » Thu May 17, 2018 10:52 pm

Hi!

I just putchased my first NAS for my photography business, a 918+, and I am a complete noob.

I have installed the software needed for backup both on my NAS and on my computer (win10). But when I try to start a backup, it says that I have no folders on my NAS to backup to.

When I go to create one with File Station the Cloud Backup software can not activate it for backup.

How can I change this?

, and Thanks for replying!

I have tried both, but the issue remains the same!
In the cloudstation server settings noen of the folders I create can be used.
I am sure it is a trivial issue, but I am having a hard time finding a solution to it :P

What are we talking about here?
Synology DS918+ (4x4TB WD RED - RAID 5 with 2x250GB 960EVO NVMe) | Synology DS412+ (4x3TB WD RED - RAID 5) | RT1900AC

Cloudstation Server on the NAS and Cloudstation Backup on my computer!

Am I better off just connecting to the NAS via Windows explorer and just using Windows backup?
