FTP access to system folders

Unread post by Edyxx » Mon May 07, 2018 9:47 pm

Hello,

I'm using WinSCP to access my Synology device. I used to be able to browse to system folders like /var /etc and so on. But now after messing around with the file service in the WebGUI when I log in to FTP using the admin account I can only see the shared folders which I created with the webgui.

Can you help?

Thanks,

I figured out that I need to choose protocol SCP then I can see all system folders.
