Can no longer edit my Wordpress site

Unread post by smuldal » Thu Feb 22, 2018 2:56 pm

I can no longer edit my local Wordpress website. Ten days ago I could do this, but no more. On launching Wordpress I just get the home page with no editing controls. I've no idea why. Could someone please help a novice?
I have a Synology DS216se NAS, connected to the internet with a Virgin Hub 3.0. I installed Wordpress from the package.
In the past week I have updated all my packages. I have also recently been attempting to host that website on my NAS, but without any success.

Problem was that I was no longer logging in automatically to Wordpress.
To log in to a web address of "MyWordPressSite/Wordpress" try "MyWordPressSite/Wordpress/wp-login.php".

For a WordPress admin it is more common to add /wp-admin to the url. This will not only log you in, but also bring you directly to the backend.
