Impossible to start Note Station as "User home is disabled" (even though it's not)

Hi,

I am trying to start for the first time Note station on my DS415+ with DSM 6.0.
But I get the following message every time:

"User Home" is currently disabled. Please go to the user page and enable it first.

And thus can't start it.
However, the home directory is enabled, and I can see it in the File Station.
Do you have any idea why I am having this issue?

I too am having this same issue with Note Station as well as with Spreadsheet.

Fixed it!

Navigate to Control Panel > User > Advanced > Check the "Enable User Home Service" button and voila... good to go.

My guess is you need to grant permission for the system/its apps to create new data on the volume. Just a guess.

Same problem but the "Enable user home service" option IS selected.

I did have to recreate the disk a little while ago and I lost the the previous DS Note contents from the NAS but all of the accounts etc. were still there. I'm just trying to reestablish the DS Note service.

Is an option to uninstall Note Station and then install it again?

Is Note Station "allowed" for user? See Control Panel>User>Edit>Applications

Thanks for the reply Bezelle. However I've gone through the uninstall and reinstall cycle and it is working (although this caused all sorts of other issues which are mentioned in a separate note).
Therefore I can't tell you how this was setup beforehand.

I have the same problem.

Any ideas? note station is dead.....
