Has anyone successfully built qemu-0.14?

Unread post by tknaps » Sat Mar 12, 2011 1:39 pm

I thought I'd try replacing MKV2VOB with something that runs natively on my DS409+ as MKV2VOB takes ages over WiFi. So far I've got everything set up to use autsmuxer (http://forums.sabnzbd.org/index.php?topic=4500.0) except for tsMuxer itself. Since there's no PPC binaries and the code is not available Ithough I'd try running the linux i386 binary through QEmu. I can only find and ipkg for qemu 0.8 though, which is ancient (tsMuxer segfaults). I don't have a cross platform environment set up, so so far I've built evrything directly on the DS409+. QEmu fails miserably thought due to problems with the time.h + sys/time.h headers and a few other reasons.

Does anyone have patches or a prebuilt ipkg I can use?

Cheers,
t

well, managed to get a static binary built after setting up a cross compiler, but no luck in running tsmuxer :/
