Expension Unit + hibernation + synology system volume

Unread post by dcn » Wed Mar 29, 2017 4:39 pm

I believe a DiskStation creates an invisible volume across all disks.
This causes all disks to wake up when a system event occurs - regardless of how multiple volumes are distributed across the disks.

If an expansion unit is added to a DiskStation.
Is the system volume expanded across all disks in the expansion unit as well?

If so, how does that affect the expansion unit's deep sleep?

Thank you.
