Issue reading timeline exported video on Mac OS

Unread post by ThierryC » Tue Apr 17, 2018 6:36 pm

Since last update, I cannot view the videos exported via "Timeline" or "recording"on Mac OS 10.13.4 using surveillance station 8.1.4-5498.

Technical infos:

Model: DS1515+
DSM : 6.1.6-15266
Surveillance Station : 8.1.4-5498
Device pack version: 5.6.0-2478

Video format : H.264
Cameras : Foscam R2 & Foscam FI9900P

Viewing in the application itself is none of an issue but downolading a video whether a full or a time based video from timeline or Recording just gives a black video using quicktime and no video at all using VLC 3.0 on Mac OS even though I can see a thumbnail on the file.

How to reproduce:

- Open Surveillance Station Client for Mac OS
- Open Timeline
- Select a time
- in the video preview, click on the "Download" icon
- choose one of the option "full" or time based
- open the file with Quicktime or VLC

- Open Surveillance Station Client for Mac OS
- Open Recording
- Select a video
- Right click and select download
- open the file with Quicktime or VLC

I tried Quicktime and VLC with no luck. Any suggestion?
