Encryption key is invalid? (Brand new setup!)

Encryption key is invalid? (Brand new setup!)

I just received my RMA of a DS718+. Inserted 2 brand new never used 4TB WD Reds. Went through the normal startup (Although this time it didn't auto create my filesystem and offer to install 'common packages'). After booting into DSM 6.2 I was notified that 6.2 update 2 was available. I did a download and update and then clicked yes when asked if I was ready to reboot. At this point the drives are still just initialized, not setup with a volume yet. Upon rebooting I logged in only to receive this.

"Because the encryption key is invalid, the password has been transmitted as plain text without encryption."

What in the world? What could already have happened, I have yet to even use it.

I'm completely locked out. I cannot log in now at all and I don't know what to do.

Have you tried a full reset?
