photostation is distorting some videos

Postby HarryPotter » Mon Oct 08, 2007 8:55 pm

I have a problem with photostation 2:

http://oft.dyndns.info/photo --> videos --> Jennifer Rush - Tears in the rain

is distorted (proportion height-width is wrong)

To compare with the original video I put it on my webspace: http://www.mkessler.net/video.mpg

Any idea?

And is it normal that it takes a week to convert this 29 videos I have in this folder?

Your video is in PAL format. That might be the cause of your problem. Could be that ffmpeg on the box only supports NTSC. Or there's an issue converting pal videos

I d/l your video mpeg and up it up on my box.

I didn't recode the mpeg, just hacked the headers for resolution. It'll take to long to re-encode it. When the syno box is finish ffmpeg'n it. Let see what it does?

Disregard the pixelation problem, It's not re-enoded, just hacked.

By the way, the header state that the original video is 480X576 and not 768x576 It's your mpeg file. Wrong resolution.
