Corrections

Unread post by vonRasmussen » Sun Nov 11, 2007 12:56 pm

Corrections:

My CS407 obviously runs firmware version: 2.0.3 - 0514

I've seen in this forum, that the beta firmware version: 2.0.3 - 0515 should remedy the file crash issue...

Sorry about the typo.

Hi Pegasolabs.

Intersting enough, but is that version for CS407? If so, wher do I find it?
When I look at http://www.synology.com/enu/support/download.php#CS407 it's still Version: v2.0.3 - 0514; Build Date: 2007/09/11 which is the official version.

Hi both.

Thanks. I'll install the new version right away - and cross my fingers hoping that both the "file share crash" issue and the LAN performance issue are both eliminated :)

Hi again.

I've just finalised the upgrade of my CS407 from v. 2.0.3 - 0514 to 2.0.3 - 0518.

I've upgraded to 518 now, still the same issues with VMWare images running off a network drive, they fail with either...

"Dictionary Problem"

or

"The parameter is incorrect"

any suggestions? For the time being I'm running off C: and baking them up to the 207+ after I've finished my session.

Cheers

Is it OK to roll from 515 to 518 on the DS-107+?

Are there any known issues with 518?

Thanks

Kenny-M

You should be fine upgrading from 515 to 518; there has been no serious issues reported by users with regards to use 518. You may look at this room for Firmware 518 discussion.

Have a good night.
