Playstation 3 Not able to access CS406 after update

Unread post by Carl » Wed Aug 01, 2007 1:34 am

Prior to updating to the 462 firmware I was partially able to access the media folders on my CS406 with my Playstation 3. Music and photos worked fine. After the update the PS3 can only see the CS406 and the media directories but the PS3 says it can't access the folders. Anybody know why this update would break the PS3 access?

I could see the 406 and the media folders but the folders were duplicated. I could access and play/display the music, photos and videos in the folders. After the update, I can still see the 406, and the media folders but it says it can't access the content.

I think the folder duplication has been brought up on another post somewhere. But playing media is something new the only way around this is still the DNLA protocol or installing Twonkyvision.
