Trusting files on DiskStation

Postby barrowwight » Tue Nov 21, 2017 7:57 pm

Can anyone help with the issue I am experiencing at the moment?
I have a DS212j which I have been using for some years, originally on Win 7 now on Win 10.
I think that this issue only occurred after the switch to Win 10 but I can't be sure.
I have the DiskStation mapped to a drive on my PC.
Whenever I copy files from mapped drive to my PC I get a warning saying that the files might be harmful to my computer.
If I click OK the copy goes ahead.
It seems like Windows is treating the files as if they are on an external network.
Is there a way that I can configure the DiskStation so that Windows sees it as a local drive?
