Windows 10 credentials not saving

Unread post by Cybergooch » Thu Oct 12, 2017 12:53 am

I've installed my Synology DS216j. Everything seems to be working, including remote access.

But every time I start up my PC, it tells me it "couldn't connect to all network drives."
I have the DiskStation mapped to drive Z:

If I try to manually connect to the Z: drive, a requester comes up asking for my User name and password.
After entering them, it connects.

I've told it to remember my credentials
I've checked in Credentials to make sure it's listed there

But every time I start my system it forgets the credentials and I have to manually log in.
Any ideas how to fix this?

Thanks

It is a well known issue with windows. Several causes depending on windows version etc.

Better to google it, there are many hints/solutions available out there.
Please share if a reply was useful or how the issue was solved, it helps other DS users.
