Shares to hide?

Postby matthys » Wed Aug 30, 2017 6:25 pm

Hello .. I'm a bit of a newby.

How can I hide shares I do not what to 'see' when browsing to my DiskStation (DS916+)?
I notice from my Windows machine when I browse to \\<DiskStation>\ I see more shares than created.
Also see \homes and \web and wonder how I can hide these as it seems system shares.
When trying to access these share I get prompted for username/password.

Thanks
