Synology based Mediawiki SIG?

Unread post by WilliamX » Mon Jun 20, 2016 9:43 pm

This post is asking for thoughts and feedback on the possibility of created a Special Interest Group (SIG) for users running (or attempting to run) mediawiki on their Synology NAS.

Mediawiki is a wonderful collaborative tool but running it on a Synology NAS, without extensive support, could become an excessive chore for many users.

Besides answering each other's questions, our collaborative goals might be to:
> Maintain alternative installation and upgrade documentation.
> Create and maintain more up to date installation and upgrade packages.
> Design and write mediawiki extensions designed specifically for Synology's NAS environment.
