All major items on my network are named after Toy Story characters. The family are big fans.

My DS411J is called Slinky...

I rather like the name 'bitbucket'; however I think I will change the name of mine from 'diskstation' to 'TARDUS'. This name also fits for Mac users who use 'time machine'.

First I have to wait for my volume to build before I futz with things too much.

Whilst all my Windows 10 and Linux boxes are named Hal, Mycroft, Orac, Merlin etc. my DS216 is simply named ...er... DS216.

I was surprised to find "ohm" was still available as a QC ID. Gotta love those 3-4 character ID's!
