Hibernate request over TCP/IP

Unread post by iolex » Tue Jun 19, 2018 12:18 pm

Hi all

I would like to know if there is already a known solution to be able to send my Synology systems to hibernate over TCP/IP. Preferably a linux application.

As my Stations are near to my bed and I hear them when I try to sleep, I have to shut them down manually, every time when I go to bed. It would be a lifesaver to be able to send them into hibernation from CL, daemon/service.

If there is no such software yet, I would like to know if there is any kind of message that I can send over TCP/IP to do so. I will then write such a program myself and make It available through GitHub.

Thank you for any kind of help
