Drive client sync with HTTPS

Unread post by nitroxaddict » Wed Jun 20, 2018 12:26 pm

It seems that in order for the Drive client (1.0.3-10281)to sync from the internet, I need to open port 6690 on the firewall. Am I missing something, or is this the only way? Nextcloud and other cloud services allow to sync on port 443, which is much better in terms of integration with existing infrastructures. Almost every company has port 443 open.

It is the only way. Afaik Drive/Cloud Station doesn't use the HTTPS protocol to tranfer data.
