Another vote for an easy to use mailing list manager where everyone who is on that list can send to the group. There are lots of services like MailChimp but they are one-to-many for email campaigns. I'm looking for email distribution lists for group work. In my case I have two tiers of people, first are people involved in day to day planning and want to receive all emails. A second tier are those who just want to receive meeting minutes and important notices but don't want the day to day discussions. Having one list where I can send emails based on criteria (e.g., first group, or second group) would be handy. I don't need a forum otherwise have used SMF and similar before. Thanks.

While I do appreciate all the updates and patches, as someone who uses my NAS to host iSCSI LUNs for Virtual machines, I would prefer if you would lessen the frequency of your patches.

12 days in between Update 4 and 5?

You should maybe release 1 update per month. NAS firmware should be fairly stable and not require more patching than Windows to keep current.

By doing fewer releases you could increase the amount of QA that is done on each patch thereby reducing the need for future patches as well.

I managed to install this free Home Inventory
https://sourceforge.net/projects/homeinv/
but it stopped working after an update (DSM5 -> DSM6). Something changed in the Smarty directories and I wasn't in the mood to work it through from scratch again.

It's a very useful app and I'd love to find it among the available packages.

Please update glpi to v9.1.1. There is no fusioninventory plugin compatible with glpi 9.1.

I wish that Cloud Station ShareSync could saturate 4-port LACP bandwidth between Synology NAS units for fastest possible data syncing/backup. Right now I'm only getting 90-100MB/sec even though I have 4 Gbit lanes bonded on each unit through a managed switch.

+1000 for Contacts/Calendar

I think may of us would like to have an opportunity to have a completely independent suite of apps to manage our personal information that is outside the Google/Apple infrastructure.
Frankly, I'd be willing to pay $100 for a license to an Exchange-type replacement app.

Again - independence from 3rd parties is the way to go.
I'd love to say goodbye to LastPass
Granted - that's A LOT of work since to be truly useful the app would have to support browser integration.
Perhaps you could adopt one of the open-source solutions to work on the Synology NAS backend seamlessly.
