apple connection hangs on ds106e with latest FMW

Postby jaaphoevenberg » Wed Jan 24, 2007 7:33 pm

after this upgrade in my ds106e my apple machine does not want to connect to the video folder on the ds anymore. It keeps trying to do so as such the ds106 log is overflowed with connection messages (more than 200 hundred in a short time)
This is the 3 post after the upgrade ! Is there something i overlooked like resetting or similar and if not it WAS working perfectly is there a way to go back to the previous FMW version ?
Plse advise

Have you guys sorted this out yet?
I'd like a reprise of what you came up with if possible.

If you downgraded the firmware I'd love to know of a way to do so

Apple hang ups solved by patch

Postby jaaphoevenberg » Fri Feb 16, 2007 11:34 am

The synology experts solved the problems by applying a patch which worked fine.

Its is probably also in the FMW 428.

I am 30 years in this business now but i must say that the services from synology are outstanding.

After upgrading to 428 I haven't had the problem in question.

But I've tweaked, and re-routed, most of our LAN net too so maybe I can't blame it all entirely on the DS...
