My Yamaha RX-A1010 has issues with DSM 6.0.1-7393 Update 2
As long as I play music, all is fine. If I stop/pause it for longer than a few minutes, its unable to see the DLNA/UPNP media server. It's like the NAS boots out the player then it doesn't allow it to connect anymore or the player itself doesn't want to connect because it was disconnected.
I had to reduce the SSDP announcement interval to 300 seconds in order to make the NAS visibile again to the player.

Anyway, this is a new behavior, because until recently, I had no issues with the default SSDP.

later edit: it seems it also disconnects the player during play, after around 15 minutes, the server becoming invisible.

after applying DSM 6.0.1-7393 Update 2 and the restart, my 411 j started to endlessly spin the 4 HD's and refuse sign on via browser. In short: I can't access the device anymore. After 3 hours, I pulled the plug (yeah, I know, but it can't get worse) which gave me 20 Minutes access to the device until it again started to ramp up disc activity and disappear for browser or diskfinder. Bottom line: I cannot access the device anymore. No app (Cloudstation, DS Note etc) can access the device. Seems as if it is simply running on 100% busy and rejects all attempts to access.
Any idea what can ben done, here?
Thanks

I have a DS411j also. I have not applied this update yet. Did you find a resolution ?

Got feedback from Synology Support today. Will work through their description and let you know. So far, Synology is busy in being not accessible…

Well update 2 borked my ability to connect via ISCSI. After contacting support 8 days ago and having hardly heard back from them with little to no answers it is clear to me that Synology support sucks and is clearly not business or enterprise grade. Our company is going to cease business as a re-seller with Synology due to the lack of true support and timely resolution. No business can survive without their data for more than a couple of days and in this instance it's been over a week. Shame on you Synology.

DS415 will not update

Unread post by ajinc » Thu Aug 11, 2016 1:42 am

Hello
I have the 415 Play and it says DSM 6.0.1-7393 update 2 is available .I am trying to update it but when I click "Update" the update button goes out of focus for a minute then returns back to focus but the download does not start.
The browser is I.E. 11 on a win 2008 server. Any ideas why the update will not start?
Thanks for any ideas

Any update Wurzelgrumpf?

I returned from a months long work trip and made the mistake of updating before reading, and now seem to be having exactly the same problems you are/did. Thanks.
