RT2600AC failover settings how

Postby nova18 » Wed Jan 03, 2018 3:34 am

Hi all, need some help with this setting.. the router is connected to NBN HFC most of the time. I have been wondering if its possible to set the 4g dongle support as the failover incase the NBN is disconnected..

once i connect the 4g dongle.. the 26000ac automatically switches to the 4g connection.. which i was trying to prevent...
Any ideas? Thanks in advance!

Seems you have set the wrong interface priority.
Go to "Network Center" ----> Internet ----> second tab at the top "Smart WAN" ----> button "Interface Priority"
Choose WAN interface for number 1 and 3G/4G for number 2 (you can change by up & down button).

Return to “Installation and Configuration”
