I have this strange issue, I cannot ping or connect to from the router, but connection works fine from wireless clients.

Any help will be appreciated.

How do you wanna 'connect' from your router to Ping traffic not responding from any device is nothing strange. A lot of domain don't allow to be pinged but that doesn't mean that they are not reachable.

So the question remains... whats your real problem here and what are you trying to exactly?
