SSO Client

Unread post by lordvacano » Tue Jan 02, 2018 1:45 am

SSO client is not working.

Synology is joined to domain, but shows message "The account or password is invalid. Please try again." when trying to log in.

Has anyone noticed this issue?

Thanksm

Hello!,

I had the same issue so I opened a ticket, they told me this:
Dear Customer,

Thank you for contacting Synology Support.

I have escalated your inquiry to our developers.

When we have more information from our developers, we will notify you as soon as possible.

Thank you in advance.
But now I have configure a LDAP SERVER (Directory Server) and with LDAP users works. I don't know if it's also supposed to be working with Local DSM users.
I'm waiting for an answer from support.

I also created a ticket, but Synology support was taking too long to respond. So I decided to remove the domain and create a new domain. This is not the best option for real production environment.
my issue was resolved, but this is not the correct way to go about it. I think my synology domain got corrupted somehow. I think Synology needs to figure this out.

Thanks,
