Cannot find PHP error log for site debugging

Unread post by superevmo » Sat Nov 12, 2016 5:35 pm

I have set up a site on my DS916+ which has PHP code and accesses the mariaDB. I had this site working on another PC which accessed the database on my server, however when I move it to the DS918+ it does not work and I'm trying to find the PHP logs to figure out what's going on.

Here is what the php.ini looks like:
error_reporting = E_ALL
display_startup_errors = Off
log_errors = On
log_errors_max_len = 1024
error_log = /var/services/homes/php_error.log

I tried looking here as well:
\var\log and I cannot find anything that resembles a log even after performing a find -name "*.log"

Does anyone know where I can find the PHP error logs on this server? There seem to be other posts indicating where they are on other servers but this one does not seem to match. Any help is appreciated!

I was able to see my PHP errors/exceptions in /var/log/nginx/error.log
