Are the Backups Incrimental?

Unread post by adam1v » Thu Mar 29, 2012 7:22 am

I just completed my first HiDrive backup which went well.
I've since added another sub folder into my backup source folder and thought id force it to backup again to see what happens and it began backing up from 0mb again, it didnt appear to only backup the newly added folder.

Can anyone confirm if this is normal?

It starts from 0 MB because it is checking whether anything has changed since the last backup.
When you watch the network activity and how much is uploaded, you'll see only part of the time somtething is uploaded.

I'm sure the backups are incremental (I've got 250 GB uploaded, you can't do that every day!).
