Time Machine Issues in Mac OS X Lion [merged thread]

Was working - although very slow, with DSM 3,2 1865.
Update to DSM 3,2 1922 broke the function.

In the best case, the TimeMachine backup will start, and then stop after +/- 2GB data backed up, claiming that the Backup disk and the iMac are not on the same network ...

I got simular problem, my Macbook Pro 2011 with 10.7.1 hang at around 1.5GB data backed up, this happen both beta & released version of DSM 3.2!
