30 Sub Albums?

Postby jekyll » Thu Jun 23, 2011 10:44 am

See this.

If you count the folders (33), why won't the unit show more than 30 in photo station?

Is this a (1725) firmware bug, or is this the limit? Quite annoying if it is :(

I don't know if this is a photo station issue or 1725 firmware issue; that's why it's posted here.. Feel free to move it ;)

My guess is that in the photostation DB, only 30 folders are known.
What could help is to do a 'reindex' via the DSM page for photostation.
What also could help is to manually add the remaining three with this command:

Code: Select all

synoindex -A /volume1/photo/missing1
synoindex -A /volume1/photo/missing2
synoindex -A /volume1/photo/missing3

This is done via the command line, and the name of the 'missingX' is of course the name of the missing subfolder.

I don't know why this happened, however. Maybe after the upgrade you once interrupted a process accidentally.
