411+ dsm 6.1 to 409 dsm 4.2

Unread post by Jpk » Fri Jan 19, 2018 3:24 pm

Hi I am having a serious issue with my backed up data.

I had a running 411+(dsm 6.1.4) which backed up to a 409 (dsm 4.2) every weekend(same Gb network connected via switch). As one of the HD of the 411 crashed I bought a new one, and proceed to buid a new volume and restoring user and configs(did a factory default config as well).

I then proceeded to try to restore the back up from the 409 but and here I am running into problems: when I try to restore (via hyper backup - and changing port to 873) I get the following error:

Failed to connect to the destination server Please cehck the following and try again:

The destination server is conencted to ana active network.

The network backup port forwarding rules have been configured on the destination server.

Any suggestions on how tackle the issue?
