File recovery

Postby st87 » Thu Jan 04, 2018 12:57 pm

HELPPPP

So an idiot (me) royally screwed myself. I was working remotely and decided to copy the live file from the NAS over to my local directory to work on it, and plonk it back into the server afterwards.

Unfortunately, because of my stupidity, I had a brief lapse of judgement that has potentially wasted hours of my precious work, whereby I copied the identical file from the left window to the right, instead of vice versa.

Now I'm here crying and begging - is there some form of data recovery available? I have EaseUS Data Recovery, but I cannot get it to point to the network directory.
