RS2414RP+ VMware VAAI

Postby funky81 » Tue Oct 27, 2015 8:43 pm

Hi guys,

currently i'm using RS2414+ with 4x SSD Samsung 850 Pro 1TB to serve my VM's VMWare vSphere 5.0 (iSCSI mode). but then I realized that VAAI at some LUN's is not support although I already create it using Block iSCSI (not File iSCSI mode).

Any suggestions on howto do it? I want RS2414RP+ take advantages of VMware VAAI capabilities.

Thanks

Hi bro,

Synology only fully support VAAI on Regular file iSCSI LUN (that's odd), and NFS.

Hope this would help:
