Create network HA with two HP switches

Postby mdeboerbrib » Mon May 11, 2015 2:23 pm

We have a RS815+RP with 4 nics. Now I want to setup the iscsi netork over two HP switches. One port is used for management so I have three ports free for iSCSI traffic.

Can someone help me to configure the HP switches in the right way?

Hi mdeboerbrib

what problems are you having? To ensure network resiliency you may connect 2 nics to one switch and the 3rd nic to the second switch.
This is assuming there is a working uplink/stack between the 2 switches.
Your single point of failure becomes the management nic.
As for the switch configuration, keep it simple and play with the config once you are setup and working.
