Trying to build rtmpdump on DS211j

Unread post by benjymous » Fri Jun 17, 2011 10:04 pm

Hi all,

I've got the optware toolchain installed, and am trying to build rtmpdump2.3 from source ( located here: http://rtmpdump.mplayerhq.hu/download/ )

I'm using this build command:

Code: Select all

make SYS=posix PREFIX=/opt SHARED=
It seems to compile ok, but I'm getting the following link errors

Code: Select all

/opt/lib/gcc/arm-none-linux-gnueabi/4.2.3/../../../../arm-none-linux-gnueabi/lib/libpthread.so: undefined reference to `__default_sa_restorer_v2@GLIBC_PRIVATE'
/opt/lib/gcc/arm-none-linux-gnueabi/4.2.3/../../../../arm-none-linux-gnueabi/lib/libpthread.so: undefined reference to `__default_rt_sa_restorer_v2@GLIBC_PRIVATE'
/opt/lib/gcc/arm-none-linux-gnueabi/4.2.3/../../../../arm-none-linux-gnueabi/lib/libpthread.so: undefined reference to `__default_rt_sa_restorer_v1@GLIBC_PRIVATE'
/opt/lib/gcc/arm-none-linux-gnueabi/4.2.3/../../../../arm-none-linux-gnueabi/lib/libpthread.so: undefined reference to `__default_sa_restorer_v1@GLIBC_PRIVATE'
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
make: *** [rtmpgw] Error 1
Can anyone tell me what I'm missing? (Or does anyone have an existing working build of rtmpdump?)

Here's the answer to your specific problem:
http://forum.synology.com/enu/viewtopic ... 90&t=30132

I found it after a lot of head-scratching and wrote up the whole process I went through to compile FFmpeg with librtmp support here:
http://forum.serviio.org/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=2902
For my packages (Java, Serviio, CrashPlan, CrashPlan PRO, CrashPlan PROe, Minecraft, Craftbukkit, OpenRemote, and Bliss), add my repo URL to Package Center: http://packages.pcloadletter.co.uk
