Using MariaDB

Unread post by ric.evans » Sun Oct 05, 2014 12:02 am

Hi,

I new to Maria DB. I have some knowledge of SQL from 10+ years ago. (I've been ill. :( ) Accessing Oracle DB's from Java. But I am very rusty and have no up to date knowledge.

As I have Maria DB on the Diskstation. Can somebody recommend a good beginner's text to set up and use Maria DB. Preferable from Java or using it as an SQL server for a application such as Tabbles.

Thanks in advance.
