Can't send TLS mail via Outlook and iOS, but works via MailStation

Unread post by Kensei » Thu Jan 05, 2017 8:35 pm

I run DSM6.2 with Mailserver and Mailstation. I've configured it that can use only IMAP SSL/TLS.
Ports I opened in my firewall: 993 and 587

Sending email via Roundcube (MailStation) to test@TestSender.CheckTLS.com gives me a succes back.

With my local Outlook2016 I configured receiving mail on SSL port 993 and sending mail on port 587 TLS. However, when I send a testmail to test@TestSender.CheckTLS.com again, it tells me that TLS wasn't used, so...failure!
But why?

This also occurs when sending email to this test website from my Iphone.

What can I do to correct this?
