I've upgraded to DSM 6. I also rebuilt a machine and reinstalled Chrome, which synced all the extensions.

When I did, it said my Download Station doesn't work with users that have two-factor enabled. Okay, cool. I like that. So, I created a new userid, new user group, new share, added the permissions to the new share to both the group and the user.

I'm receiving a "There is no default destination folder set for Download Station. Set your default folder in Download Station configuration."

I added a download through the Download Station interface on the console and it works just fine. I can't see that download in the Chrome client, by the way. Not sure if I'm supposed to be able to, but I thought I'd mention it.

Any suggestions of where the logs are so I can figure out what it's failing on?

***Nevermind*** Just found it in the FAQ, I think. https://www.download-station-extension. ... _answer_18

Have to say what fantastic extension, no longer do I need to go through the process of login into my server from work just to download.

Saves me so much time with the a simple three click process

Great job

I've been using Download Station for a while.
Recently upgrade to DSM 6 .. and extension is 2.2.11 and whenever I try to add a FTP download I get an error
Invalid Username or password.

I've checked the details - they are correct.

Any ideas or suggestions?

OK - This was caused by enabling the Autoblock block function I think.
Turning this off in DSM I was able to connect and add downloads successfully again.

I have this problem to except I already have a destination defined (even tried changing it) and it still doesn't work. Worked fine on DSM 5.2 but not 6.0.

Using Version 2.2.11 of Chrome Download Station & Version 49.0.2623.112 m (64-bit) of Chrome, extension was working fine until today. Now it can't get the Download Station to respond whether I use local or remote IPs/ports, all that have worked in the past, and can confirm work in terms of getting to the web interface on both the local ip/port and the remote. But no luck on the extension :/

"The connection timed out. The device did not respond."

Hello,

Great Extension,

I just want to notify an error I'm getting all the time in the console.

Chrome Version: 49+ or 50+ (64-bit) (didn't tried older versions)
OS: Mac OS X 10.10.5
Error:

Code: Select all

extensions::uncaught_exception_handler:8Error in event handler for (unknown): TypeError: Cannot read property 'length' of undefined
    at bindProtocolEvents (chrome-extension://EXTENSION_ID/js/content-scripts/content.js:79:31)
    at chrome-extension://EXTENSION_ID/js/content-scripts/content.js:21:3
    at chrome-extension://EXTENSION_ID/js/browser-functions.js:632:6
Thanks!

After Update to 6.x this extension has serious problems for me:

1) Often the connection is lost, I have to connect via WebInterface for the Plugin to find the connection again

2) More severe and annoying The password is not saved to the download when added via "Advanced Download"

Any fix please?

Having the 2-step authentication issue since today :-/
I've been using this extension for ages now, and my DSM user account has always been with 2-step auth, and it has always worked this way... until today, where it just broke... pretty odd.

Edit: OK, my bad, the auth on my DSM thumbnail had simply died on me. I needed to re-authenticate and re-trust my device. Now it's working again... and with my 2-step authentication user ;-)

So, any ideas on the password issue? Also DS extracts and semi-deletes the archives, sometimes half of them, sometimes all. This is totally bugged since 6.0. I wish I had never upgraded.
