RG Not Identifying Premium User

Overnight, something happened where my Synology no longer downloads from RG. I'm a premium user until Dec. of this year, so that's not the issue. Yesterday I was able to download a few files, and now it gives the error "Premium Account Required".

When I put in the credentials to my account, and try to verify it says it's not a premium account. I can log into rapidgator right now and know it's not the case.

I just checked and when downloading with uploaded.net my premium account there works just fine. So something is happening with the verification of credentials.

Please advise.

same thing happening here, all of a sudden rapidgator not showing as premium on my gas, works fine from browser

I just got a reply back from RG after submitting a ticket.

They said that within the script/api created to download that verification will need to be HTTPS not HTTP. Also the links should/would need to also be HTTPS.

Just to test to see if anything made a difference, and it went from outright failing to downloading the 28kb HTML file. Still doesn't work, because it doesn't authenticate my credentials.

How do I edit that code or put in a new version or it?

I had the same issue with the rapidgator login.

The solution is to disable the default host file created by download station and add the rapidgator.host file created by metter from https://dl.dropbox.com/u/3059336/Synolo ... gator.host

It worked for me.

mine too suddenly stopped working, it was the most reliable download solution I had can anyone please figure out how to correct it

just a se note, mine does authenticate my credentials properly, it just fails any download and says file does not exist when in fact I know it does and can download directly from a browser

Same thing happened to me. I now use the NON Synology Host file (available above) which allowed me to verify my credentials. I then changed the links from http to https and they all worked...... Really hope this helps some of you until Synology update their host file.

Still not working here, even with the new host file, the default one recognises my premium account but candy download

Getting 404 on Dropbox.
Anyone can reupload the host file perhaps??

Is this the same issue I'm facing? 90% of the time my Rapidgator downloads result in a html download instead of the actual file.

Yep, same here bro.
PERHAPS I fixed by disabling 'Direct download' in My profile (on RG website) and replaced https by http in all links.

Well, it's most annoying but adding the "s" to add any RG download from certain online feeds and websites I use does resolve the issue, now my Synology plug in with Chrome works and when adding links directly works as well.

However, I must copy the link from my website, paste it into ie: a notepad file, change from "http" to "https" and then copy again to set up the download in either the download station or my chrome plug in. This is quite annoying with several extra steps. Any tricks to automate it more? I am always open for a workaround.

Hi there,

I had the same issues, Direct Download was disabled all the time, since I use http:// instead of https:// everythings works fine.
