Re: Mac finder extremely slow when running Cloud Station

@Philibert I COULD KISS YOU RIGHT ON THE MOUTH! (But I won't) :P I'm sending huge karma points your way right now... It seems to be working. I'm not sure if this will have an effect on other things (I hope not) but now the nightmares and the twitching will stop and the sun will come out again. Thank...

Re: Mac finder extremely slow when running Cloud Station

OMG, FINALY! I was dealing this for 2 months until I couldn't take it anymore and decided to systematically shut down every process my computer was running until I pin-pointed what it was, sure enough the finder ran smooth after I killed the Syno CS. So, I google "Synology Cloud Station Fi...

Re: CPU - high values for apparently nothing

Wanted to post an update in regards to Cloud Station pegging CPU usage... I was able to lower CPU usage with one part changes on my end, and one part recent DSM + Cloud-Station update. My CPU is hovering between 8-16% user percentages now, +2-4% system, (Which I still think is high for idle no?) wit...

Re: CPU - high values for apparently nothing

Just an update: I ran a test where I shut down Plex Media server (running on my MacPro not the NAS) an rebooted both my MacPro and the NAS, but it had no effect. Cloud station still pegs the CPU @ 100%.

Re: CPU - high values for apparently nothing

Hmmm, cavidj, is the Logitech process on your computer or on the NAS? I run Plex, maybe that has something to do with it. I'll try shutting Plex down and restarting both machines to see if that affects anything.

Re: CPU - high values for apparently nothing

Yes we do! (Please :)

Cloud Station is a big reason I bought this and I used it all day, every day.

Synology Customer Support has contacted me and I will be submitting a trouble ticket soon.

Re: CPU - high values for apparently nothing

I'm still having an issue... I have a 212j with two 3 terabyte drives striped in a RAID 0. When I upgraded to 4.3-3776-3 and I run Cloud Station it pegs my processor @ 60-70%, while the user process is around 30%, totaling %100. Drives run constantly for days. This did not happen on 4.2. This is whe...

Re: FOSCAM issue ?!

Hi, I am sort of using it successfully... I managed to get it working, It occasionally records motion events, but I can't move it! It's stuck on the default position because Foscam didn't include the ability to Tilt/Pan on the web interface, and SurvStation is giving me an error about using the newe...
