Re: Add dictionary or remove spell checking

Any news ???? How can I change spell checking language ? In Google Chrome spell checking is correct but not in NoteStation (Windows 10 - 64 bit). At the moment I have disabled spell checking to optimize performance. Well I have now uninstalled NoteStation from my PC because disabling spell checking ...

Re: Run the slideshow for album automatically from link?

Yes yes yes - it is possible but it is not that easy to figure out. I have just requested a PhotoStation option for the wish list https://forum.synology.com/enu/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=89033&p=511657#p511657 because I had just written a solution for what you are seeking here: https://forum.syno...

Re: Photo Station wish list

WOW after 4 years I have just posted the same request - managing slideshow speed https://forum.synology.com/enu/viewtopic.php?f=17&t=138284 I'd like to see two items: - add a setting to control slideshow speed (default is too fast, but should be settable from, say, 1 sec to 60 sec.) - add a slid...

How can I preset slide show (dias) speed

I have just found that Synologys PhotoStation website "dias" slideshow is perfect suited for my MagicMirror and Dynamic Picture Frames for the whole family. The MagicMirror can run a module called MMM-iFrameReload and this iFrame part can run or show all kinds of websites including the di...

Re: DS216+ shutdown/reboot freezes, no power-off/boot

I used to be the happy owner of a Synology DS210j with hybernation enabled each night and for years it has just shutdown and restarted each night. But then I wanted a newer NAS and bought me a DS216+ with WoL feature etc. And I bought me a Synology Router as well. But now my new DS216+ NAS has misse...

How to change LAN IP range on RT1900 router

Man I have been struggling like a crazy  to figure out how to change the LAN IP range from 192.168.x.x to 10.0.x.x on my new Synology RT1900 router. First problem came after first firmware upgrade. Then my administrator privileges suddenly disappeared and I was not able to reconfigure the r...

Re: CloudStation issues after update to DSM 5.1 on Retina i

This solved my problem too.... Thanks :D Before the DSM 5.1 Update cloud station seemed to work just fine. After the Update something must have went wrong because my Sinology Cloud Station App 3.1-3317 on my iMac running Mac OS X 10.10 Yosemite just started to sync all files again but after some min...

Terrible slow photo backup from DS Photo app

I'm wondering if I should buy me a new Sinology NAS and use my old DS210j as a remote located backup NAS for the new one. But if PhotoStation and especially the smartphone photo backup feature still will be so terrible slow and time consuming then I maybe should look for another NAS brand or photo s...

Help! Trying to login but are waiting forever

Now this is strange. I have had my synology DS210j for years now and I have never experienced not to be able to login. My suspicion goes for that freaking photo station indexing feature taking so much load from the system so it never get a chance to authorise my login attempt :( So I have to drive 1...

Re: How to expand after swap of primary drive

why dont you just leave the 1tb in the nas, insert the 3tb, create a volume on it and move the files, then remove the 1tb? It is sadly the only way for me to go. But I can inform you that it is quite time consuming and I can see a potential risk of total data lose in this process. I have made a mor...

Clone feature for 1 disk users with 2-bay NAS

I think I might be somehow a typical home or private Synology NAS user. I bought my DS210j back in 2011 with a 1TB hard disk drive (HDD). And at that time the price of a 1TB disk was about 1/3 of the price for the NAS it self. I bought an external 2TB USB-hdd for backup purpose (oh here an USB 3.0 c...

How to expand after swap of primary drive

I used to have only one 1TB large HDD in my DS210j and about 150 GB space is free. I only want to have 1 HDD in my NAS. I have then bought myself a HDD clone dock and a new 3TB WD-type Red HDD. Now I have cloned my old HDD to the new HDD. But how do I then expand the disk volume when I do not use RA...
