Can anyone provide any help with this? I have a DS1813 and am also having the same issues, I have tried so far with a few different client configurations.
I am running the latest DSM 4.3 as well as the latest Video Station update 1.2-0443.
iMac running Windows 8 64 bit, with 64 bit VLC browser plugin installed and IE, Firefox and Chrome.
MacMini running OSX 10.8.x
Both give me the message "The video format is not supported by My computer" when I try to play certain videos (.mkv, .avi, .iso etc.) although some videos do play that are in the .avi format just not all.
If I navigate to the share containing the videos using File Explorer/Finder and try to play the files directly using the installed VLC, they work fine from all the machines I have tried.
