Which fileformats is supported in Video station?

I had the same problem. It seems like that if you are using https then it doesnt work. I changed mine to http and it work.

The only file format i found supported was .mp4...
There's probably more but i haven't got the time to test all of them...

I think you are looking for the webplugin of your mozilla browser. It is included into the vlc installer, but not checked by default. Run the vlc installer again to reinstall vlc, then when you have to choose the components, you will see not everything is checmarked. The mozilla webplugin does not have a checkmark.

Once this has been done, use only http to access your video station. It will stream all the formats that you have.

Another tip is via the control panel - Application Portal
add a extra port for the service that you want to have direct access to. Remember to nat your router to these new ports.

I have everything using a custom ports for https and only video station that uses a http port.
VLC can not play via https..you can get a real SSL certificate at StartSSL for a year at a time.
Now you are able to go directly into the service withou having to via the Webmanager.
