Uploading files to my DS211j

Hi

I have a DS211j that has previously been working fine, but a couple of weeks ago I carried out a full re-install of my pc.
I have a dual boot system with Vista Ultimate 64bit and Windows 7 64bit.
I have re-installed the Synology Assistant on both OS's, but I am unable to browse any local folders from within the Synology File Browser. I can see all files that are on the DS211j and download ok, but I am unable to upload anything new onto the NAS drive.

I'm guessing that the problem may be something to do with the network and sharing settings in windows, but I'm not sure which ones.
I have shared certain folders within each version of windows but still they don't show up in the File Browser window!

Any help on this would be much appreciated.
