I don't have it but by using the default config I've managed to compile a few modules, though they don't work because of missing symbols.

Which modules are you trying to compile?

My compiled modules are not missing symbols, they do crash the kernel due a wrong kernel config. Anyway, dsm2.3 just released and got out of beta so I guess the gpl's will be available shortly. Thanks for your answer. I'll continue feeding this forum with updated howto's (openvpn, moblock, full chrooted debian) once the new gpl is available. Hope it will be released soon.

then maybe you can help me, even the latest 2.3 firmware doesn't have ipv6 support and I successfully compiled the ipv6 modules unfortunately they can't run because of symbols missing errors -> the whole kernel must be rebuild.

In case I build my own kernel do you have any idea how to install it in the device or is it a very big task to do ?

cheers

Hello,

Is there any news on getting asterisk running on 1010/710?

I will soon get my 710, and like it very much.
