Being an idiot - Mail accounts

Postby busted » Mon Mar 01, 2010 2:06 pm

I only use a couple of user accounts on the Synology DS209, however i give out a lot of email address on my domain eg: spam@mydomain.com or ebay@mydomain.com etc...

I am trying to have ALL emails collected in ONE user account or preferably have ALL emails sent to one user account and being able to exclude emails that have user accounts.

To word differently.....

Is it possible for emails with user accounts to be delivered to those user accounts and ALL OTHER email to goto direclty to a "dump" account?

Thanks in advance.

Normally aliases will take of this. It just needs to be configured. The file is /usr/syno/mailstation/etc/aliases, on the left side is the account name the email comes in with (ex spam), on the right side the target for forwarding.
Code: Select all
spam: yourUser
ebay: yourUser
