Support for JDownloader

Postby joechong » Sat Sep 05, 2009 6:45 am

Hi,
Is there anyway that JDownloader can be supported by Synology DownloadStation? JDownloader is a java app that runs on a desktop which manages download of big size movies e.g. mkv; and the files are retrieved from RapidShare, MegaUpload and other sites.

That'll be nice to implement.

in not possible to run jdownloader yet?

If it is possible to run java apps, the interface could be run under JDownloader web interface extension.

Hi,
I'm Coalado from the JDownloader Team.
We would be very happy to migrate JDownloader (or write a special version) to Synology Hardware.

All we need is a little support from Synology.
We need to know, for example, the system specs of all products JDownloader should run on. Moreover it would be great to have a testing machine.

If Synology is interested in an cooperation, please contact me.

No news since my post.
Cebit is near. I hope that I get a chance to talk to the Synology Team there.

I would love to have this feature, since it was the reason i bought the 710 with Intel processor just to be able to some day run thin ons JVM.
